God created Adam on the sixth day,
The first vessel of God, made out of clay.
In the image of God, created He him,
And God filled this vessel with joy to the brim.
God placed Adam in Eden, in the garden of paradise,
Which God Himself planted, and made exceedingly nice.
God gave Adam the animals to name,
All kinds of animals, which were very tame.
Adam had everything, there was no lack,
Abundance of joy without keeping track.
The garden had every tree, fruits pleasant to the eyes,
But then he married Eve, to his own demise.
