Every perfect gift comes from the LORD,
For us to sustain, and to be restored.
Only the LORD knows all our needs,
By His great mercy He lets us succeed.
He offers to us, His merciful hand,
To the wisdom of God, there is no end.
His long-suffering heart shows mercy every moment,
His generous hand sustains by bestowment.
His powerful arm delivers us from evil,
The lifter of the meek, defender of the feeble.
The LORD gives, and the LORD takes away,
Blessed be His Name, we should always say.
