Hosanna to the highest who comes through the palms we lay,
Hosanna to the highest authority in the presence of men forevermore, to stay!
Hosanna to the highest king riding on a donkey to where He dwell,
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna to the name, Emmanuel!

Hosanna to the highest who comes with the presence of God on high,
He brings justice and righteousness and His reign is all but nigh,
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna is the word we shall sing!
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna to the name of the King!

Hosanna to the highest whose coming was foretold,
Hosanna to the highest for the prophets had declared Him, so bold,
Hosanna to the highest for His kingdom shall not decrease,
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna to the Prince of peace!

Hosanna to the highest who comes with the presence of God on high,
He brings justice and righteousness and His reign is all but nigh,

Hosanna to the highest whose defeated the devil and sin with its sting and thorn,
Hosanna, to the highest with salvation and justice to bring,
