When my grandson climbs into my lap and snuggles next to me we share an unbelievable peace. For the comfort he receives is magnified as I remember my need. I close my eyes and crawl up onto the Lord’s lap. And as I unburden and quiet my soul I listen to the Lord’s heart for both of us. Note: David encourages us in Psalm 131:2 to crawl onto the Lord’s lap like a child resting against its mother.
