If Jesus had thrown in the towel, do you think we’d all be alive somehow? Would anyone else take His place, someone sinless to bring us “amazing grace?” Would we still be able to seek God’s face, or would darkness abound, swallow us up ‘till none worthy could be found? Do you think God would still allow us to come in, despite all of our transgressions and all of our sin, If Christ no longer wanted to be, the one who forgave us eternally, who allowed everyone the chance to be free? Since there’d be none there, to save us from ourselves who were beyond repair? Aren’t you glad Jesus freely died, went to the cross and was crucified, for every sin and lie we’d lie, He wanted to go, so with Him we’d abide. Jesus chose the cross, was crucified, and forgave even the ones who beat Him and pierced His side. He forgave them even before He died. He rose again to defeat every demon and hint of sin, now we could truly be born again, righteous and holy to sit with Him in Heaven once and for all. On His name we could call. What if Christ didn’t have this love, that would reconcile us to God above? Or what if He didn’t have the time or care, our lives, our souls for Him to spare? What if our Savior had called it quits? We’d truly be a world full of hypocrites, No one to save us from our sin, no beginning, only the end.
