Enfleshed

by Teresa Burleson

Still You pursue us.
Still You look for those
Who will dine with You.
And still You meet us
Where we least expect.
Just a carpenter
From Nazareth
Wearing homespun,
And yet
You forever fuse
Our flesh and bones
With Shekinah Glory,
Joining together
What was fractured
In the garden.
