With You

by Nichole Conran

Each day may bring about something new
That makes me question if I’ll get through
In the darkest night I look to You,
Then worry fades away.

Each part of my body may soon break
There’s only so much pain I can take
Happy isn’t something I can fake,
Yet with You, I’m okay.

It’s not a question of if, but when
Whether I will make it to the end
For with Your love, I’ll be strong again
I know I’ll find my way.

Even if I were to face new stress,
I will continue to do my best
Then I will ask You to take the rest
I trust what You will say.

I will not give up at any price
Pain won’t ever cause me to think twice
Of whether I truly want this life
Sunrise is a new day.

There is beauty in so many things
If I stop, pause and really listen,
I can feel warm peace and joy seep in
When I begin to pray.
