‘Twas in the blood at Calvary, a lesson began to play. It lasted some 2000 years and spanned unto this day. How precious His blood? How precious His blood? It trickled down the cross that day, a covenant between man and God was on display. His love did not become thin, but held Him to the cross. We thought our Messiah that day was lost, but we gained a Savior on the cross. The whole world stood still, as God looked away. ‘Twas in the blood! ‘Twas in the blood! Sprinkled on Heaven’s altar. Now all men could call, He did what no other man could do, appease God once and for all. ‘Twas in the blood!
