(1 Thessalonians 4:17)
When our time on Earth is over When life’s shadow’s growing long We will hear the trumpet sounding And go Home where we belong To God’s City, we’ll go flying Gates of pearl and streets of gold Leaving mortal cares behind us As we join the Master’s fold Though we’ve sinned, we’re not forsaken Jesus paid all on the Cross We need only trust His Message To be saved and never lost Christ will come again in Glory Take us to our Home above Where we’ll live with Him forever In His Grace and Peace and Love You can join us at His Altar You need only just Believe Give your heart today to Jesus His Salvation, you’ll receive Praise the Lord and Hallelujah We will be there by-and-by Safely held in God’s own Kingdom In His Heaven in the sky
