“Without faith, it is impossible to
please him…” Hebrews 11:6

I find such peace knowing 
my faith pleases God,
when my circumstances
cry I don’t have time,
I sense His pleasure
by opening His word.

When I resist the temptation
to hurry by yet stop to help.

When I want to hold a grudge
but choose to forgive instead. 

When I ask and trust
for grace to be His light 
in these bleak and murky times.

When I step out in spite 
of the forecasts of my past
I know His Spirit’s breath, 
for I am a new creature.
