by Jason Kirk Bartley
I asked the Lord what He saw in me so many years ago. As I heard His response, tears began to flow. When I saw I was a sinner, sinning was for me, God could see me as a Christian, my heart set free. And when I saw a failure, wanting to end it all, Jesus saw a humble spirit, on His name I'd call. When I saw a person lost in all I'd done, God saw me forgiven for everything through His Son. When I saw hopeless struggling to make ends meet, God saw me walking in His favor, preaching in the street. When I didn't think I could go on, Jesus picked me up on my feet. In Christ, I reside before your eyes, my life is made complete.
