Lovers I have loved pale in the shadows of my heart as my eyes are once again blessed to see your simple beauty. Allow me to pay tribute to your arrays of purple splendor and bow to your dawning glory, a symbol of grace against the morning light. And though your presence is soon fleeting, my memories of your peaceful goodness will touch my yearning soul until we meet again.

Fred!!! Now this is poetry at its best!!!!!
Reading it I felt like a grad student all over again. “Peeling back the onion” to arrive at its essence. If you publish, who knows? Some day you may have grad students sitting around the green slopes of their campus reading your work and writing dissertations about what the Poet was truly saying! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing! 🤗
