When you come to the end of the day, Let your prayers steal your worries away. Worries laid His feet Have a chance to retreat, When you come to the end of the day. When you wake to the morn in His love, All your cares are with God up above, You are free from them all And can hardly recall, When the morn you awake in His love. When your day now unfolds with His joy, And at last you are His to employ, Show the grace that He’ll give In the way that you live, When your day now unfolds with His joy. When you see there is good you can do, Do it now, hesitation is through. For you may be just one But God’s will can is done, When you see there is good you can do. When you come to the end of that day, God will know that in Him you have stayed. As your eyes start to dim, Sleep contented in Him, When you come to the end of that day.
