Pains and Troubles

by A.S. Chuba

A snow-white Dove flew up to me and whispered in my ear:
“You haven’t got a reason to be scared about the past,”
“Don’t worry; do not fret; do not be troubled; do not fear,”
“This world is just temporal, the troubles do not last.”

“You haven’t got a reason to be scared about the past,”
“Just look ahead and bear your troubles patiently.”
“Don’t worry; do not fret; do not be troubled; do not fear,”
So if I should be saved, I must seek guidance and be free.
