The words we speak are the portals to our hearts that genuinely reveal their condition. Our speech indelibly paints a vivid portrait. Countering the deceptive perception of hypocrisy we continually present to the world. The dilemma we face, do our actions undermine our protestations of faith? The world insightfully deduces our spurious charade as the hubris of deceitful congregants. The showcase of our lives is on display. Sadly, our rigidity to self-importance and delusional behavior is off-putting and destroys the sacred message. The paradox highlights the futility of our words. We claim Jesus is Lord. Yet, we refuse to obey His commands. How can we expect forgiveness when we refuse to forgive? If we love the Lord, what prevents us from loving our neighbors? We continually complain the country is going in the wrong direction. Is it a disembodied land that now hurls toward oblivion? No, it is the disobedient collective of pseudo believers. How do we prevent the inexorable conclusion? Obey the commands of the Lord. Stop seeking the idols of evil. Repent, for we are all sinners. Lastly, love your enemies. If not, what befalls us is on us. It does not have to be this way.
