The shepherd boy looks up at the night sky. Then he looks down at his flock. As he looks, he wonders why. And realizes with a shock. “There is more to life than meets the eye.” He suddenly gets up and walks ahead. “I can feel something is really nigh.” He walks on until he sees a stead. And going in he sees a Child. A small, little, holy Newborn. He is so tender and mild. All so happy and never forlorn. Jeremiah looks at him with a smile of joy. And gives Him a big kiss. He looks at the mother of the sweet, young Boy And remembers the moment like this.
