Sacramentum

by Alan Garrigan

(For Kev)

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1

Sanctus will emulate all atomic certainty
New disclosure of truth: Alethia

Relinquishing the primordial male ego
To occupy the sacred terminus of forever

Sanctus is sure that the lantern fly
will coalesce with space flight
Implausible: Contemporary man cannot fathom
Regressus ad infinitum: Anavasta

Sanctus is one breath: Pneuma

A terra incognita to codify
the nano profile of our ashen bones
Into one singular portent

Sanctus shall declare perennial divinity
Or whatever you could call it
As all is ritually convened
Through Eternal rest: Requiem aeternam
