Love Lifted Me

by Piper Westmoreland

Love lifted me
Out of despair
I needed You urgently
And You met me there
You reached down
Into the depths of my soul
And whispered of love
That never grows old
How deep is that love?
How roaring the sea
Of love most tender
Between You and me
Your gentle spirit and kindness
Has won over my heart
And now I can love You
And never want us to part
