Forever Grace

by Pat Severin

When problems come, we ask ourselves, just how are we to cope?
We’re filled with anger, feel defeat, and tell ourselves we hope.
We hope that we can find a way to make them disappear.
But when you feel defeated, filled with worry, filled with fear...

You know that you’re just human, your might and power just dreams.
You also know where power is found and just what power means,
Because your God, the three in One, the source of power and might
Has calmed the storm, has died and rose and gave the blind man sight...

Is there for you to take it all, and He is always there.
He’s ready, waiting, God of gods, the one who’ll always care.
Whatever you are dealing with, whatever you might need,
Imprisoned by your cares and woes, with Him at last you’re freed.

So when your troubles try their best to squelch your confidence,
Convinced that you’re a victim of your own life’s circumstance,
That’s when to take them all to Him, He’ll take the worst we face
And cover it with Love Divine and His forever Grace.
