Sinner to Saint

by Jason Kirk Bartley

Many sinners look at
Christians and say, “I will never ever be
able to give up my sin.”
Well, a Christian used to be a sinner
just like them back then.
From Franklin Graham to the janitor
at your church,
they all have a heart that needs to be
searched.
If you’re in sin,
feeling all weighed down.
Cry out to Jesus,
then you’ll be found.
He’ll lift you up and cleanse
that wretched black heart,
make it white as snow,
and give you a brand new start.
You’ll be adopted as one of His own.
He’ll never leave nor forsake.
Trust Him with your life today for goodness’ sake.
He has great plans for you,
plans to take you much higher,
Goals to set you at the top,
set your heart on fire.
Kindle your flame for Jesus.
Live your life with purpose.
Become who Jesus created you to be.
Serve Him in the higher way.
Now you’ll make an impact for Jesus,
by what you do or say.
