If Tomorrow Never Comes

by Jason Kirk Bartley

If tomorrow never comes,
are you ready to go away?
How many people would wish you
were here to spend another day?
Would you be ready to meet your
maker, or did you bask in sin?
Would you be able to make
Heaven your home,
and be able to enter in?
Did you live by God’s Holy Word
and lead many to the cross?
Or were there many led astray,
who point fingers at you, ‘cause
they’re lost?
Did you really try your best to
follow Jesus Christ?
Or were you half-heartedly seeking
Him and didn’t count the price?
Does Jesus crack a smile,
Because He knows your deeds?
Or are you guilty of planting rotten
seeds?
However, you have lived,
Just remember to not forget my
daughters and sons,
there’ll be a time to give account
of everything you’ve done.
Remember, it’s your choice,
Because where you spend
eternity’s not a game,
to call upon Jesus to save,
because His is the only name.
