I’m forged through life’s trials and shaken a bit. I’ve let fear consume me, but you won’t see me quit. This love is for real, sets my heart on fire. I love to play my part with others, many that I admire. Today I’ll stand in His mighty name. I do not have a fortune. I do not seek fame. What He’s done for me, I want to proclaim. Today, I stand in Jesus’s mighty name. It’s not every day that I’m high on life’s mountain. Wherever I go, I do my best to shoot praises like a water fountain, I’m truly grateful for what He has done, I bear the marks of His one and only Son. What about the valleys and tests I endure? I love Jesus and that’s the only thing for sure. Today I stand on firm Holy ground. All sin is as sinking sand, on it, I’ll not be found. I’m rejoicing every night and every day, He lifts all my burdens and takes them away. Today I’ll stand and walk that fine line, like the Apostle Peter and Paul, many did in their time. I’ll portray Jesus’s character. He dwells in my heart. He’s there to stay and never to depart. I’ll bless others and show them His way, point them to Calvary, and what He did on the third day. give others a hand, pull them out of the muck and mire, point them His way, start a holy fire. ‘Till God calls me up to that place in the sky, to be with Jesus, who’s waiting up on high. Today and every day, I stand.
