If Christ came to supper, would you eat early or late? Would you use your best china, or an old dinner plate? Would you pray before eating, or would you just "dig in"? What would you do if Christ came for supper, my friend? Would you use your best judgment, with your table all spread? Would you offer Him a dinner roll, or your best homemade bread? Would your conversation be about how your day went, or would it be full of gossip, a day to repent? If Christ came for supper, would you prepare it really well, or wait the last minute, while you sit for a spell? Would you offer Him the best seat in the house, or sit Him somewhere where He could talk to your spouse? If Christ came to supper, how would He be treated there? How long would it take before you showed you really cared? If Christ came for supper, would it be a marvelous night, or would He be offended at you hiding everything out of sight? One day, He's coming. Would you invite Him in, so Jesus can come to supper, and be with you, my friend?
