As the man who turns his ear away from the truth Let us as believers desire to not just hear the word, but do as it says. Let us open our hearts to receive, and our minds to understand. We should not hide our faces, lest we have something to be ashamed of. We have ears to hear God’s word, yet we must act on it. We have hearts to receive his word, and the ability to put it into practice. His Word is a gift, a guide, and a light to our paths as the Psalmist says in the 119th chapter.
