I pity the people, when they heard King Jehoshaphat’s battle plan. “Put the choir on the frontline.” “But what about the warriors,” the people asked, “should they hide behind the choir and surprise our foes?” “No,” the king said, “we are powerless before this host, we cannot deliver ourselves. We will trust the Lord. Put the choir on the frontline!” It made no earthly sense, but out of obedience, Jehoshaphat put the choir on the frontline. And as they sang and praised the Lord, God gave them victory. They declared by faith that no multitude, no matter how vast, could stand against the greatness of the Lord their God. They proved worship is not the last thing, but the first. Exalting God over any problem. Put your choir on the frontline!
