I love hiking above a creek accepting the trail’s invitation to wander. There is no fear, no thought of turning back, just the wonder of being carried along. For I’m reading, playing a new song, as the water’s tempo crescendos and my heart is leaping, almost singing with each upward step. This is the kind of lost I’ve longed for. Being lifted up in the Lord reveling in this shimmering moment, when all that’s past is forgotten, and all I seek is following and pleasing Him.
