by Mark Weinrich
No matter how imprecise and impossible, I struggle and fight to capture time. With ruler, yardstick, and construction tape, I try to shrink, to cram, and cage this wriggling beast. Then when I’m exhausted God’s Spirit reminds me that the strand of seconds, days, and years has been broken. When Jesus took His first breath, His first step outside time into the shimmering living stream flowing from the throne. He anointed us with everlasting hope, showing that only one thing matters— trusting His eternal love, for His victory is seed, seeds of every victory to come. And nothing can defeat or break the power of His love for us.
