by Mark Stucky
Where the world’s religions diverge in creeds and practices surely some beliefs went astray, but is there a “one true faith”? Is there one universal spirituality with rigidly equal requirements for all peoples across all millennia? A universal spirituality field across all of space and time? Or does God encounter us where we are, in the quantum foam of our chaotic lives? With experiences as diverse as individual snowflakes and as unpredictable as quantum particle positions? Will we have, if we’re mindful, unexpected meetings with mystical forces in thin spaces where heaven and earth touch? Spiritual entanglements between God and our souls? Seemingly random events taking us closer to destiny?
Mark Stucky has degrees in religious studies, pastoral ministry, and communications. After being a pastor, he became a technical and freelance writer. In his day job, he’s documented technology products (ranging from building automation to satellite communications). In free time, he’s written articles, stories, and poems on a variety of (usually spiritual) topics. For more writings, see cinemaspirit.info.
