by Teresa Burleson

My Pursuer is
Nothing deters
This most persistent
Of all suitors.
This unruly heart,
So prone to stray,
Shall no longer
Withstand Him.
This Gentleman Caller
Is not to be spurned.
The Light unapproachable
Is now
The Light indwelling me.
