The beginning Of the journey Finds its end In the deepest creaks, Forbidden to light Where hearts still throb, And eyes cry, The only water In the black throat Ferries souls Longing For the stars Above Where shadows float In expectance, Indefinite shapes Of repentance And ongoing pain, A fleeing remembrance Of hope, Always pining For the stars Above Where all presences Are blurred By grace And flow In a timeless bliss Known as Eternal love.
Olivia Arieti, with a degree from the University of Pisa, lives in Italy with her family. She is a published playwright and also writes poems and short stories.
