by Paul “Gully” Richards
I've waited forever And I will suffer A little while more For you to understand What the heart is made for. Self-will never worked for us It never will. I've been turning it over I am turning it in But I can help myself From taking it All back again. I've waited forever And I will suffer A little bit more Do you see now That is what the heart The heart is made for. It's written in the scriptures It's written down in blood That’s the things The little things You do for love
