There is no love like Jesus’ love Pure and perfect, sent from above Carnal lovers will leave you Spouses will grieve you Parents will forsake you Siblings will hate you Children will ignore you And friends don’t always understand. But the pure, perfect love of Jesus Christ Is always there, so give Him your hand. Accept His pure, perfect love; it’s always true. Twenty-four/seven/three-hundred-sixty-five Jesus’ pure, perfect love is there for you. So much pain and doubt in my heart Sin, failure, and fear were tearing me apart No one seemed to care My blanket of illusions was threadbare Alone in my sorrow In despair about tomorrow No love to steal, beg or borrow About to be swallowed By the Jordan River, deep and wide How could I make it to the other side? I know the grass is greener On salvation’s side of the river So why is it so hard for me to cross? Oh, God, please tell me all is not lost! Please tell me all is not lost! With Jesus’ loving arms, extended My sins, sorrows, fears ended Washed away by Jesus’ Blood Cast out by His pure, perfect love New life in Christ, thank God I’ve found One-hundred-eighty-degree turnaround What I thought was lost, He has restored I was adrift by the ship, but now I’m on board! Because there is no love like Jesus’ love Pure and perfect, sent from above Carnal lovers will leave you Spouses will grieve you Parents will forsake you Siblings will hate you Children will ignore you And friends don’t always understand. But the pure, perfect love of Jesus Christ Is always there, so give Him your hand. Accept His pure, perfect love; it’s always true. Twenty-four/seven/three-hundred-sixty-five Jesus’ pure, perfect love is there for you.
