Blessed Be God

by Susan E. Wagner

He who watches my days,
He who holds the elements,
Whose majesty imbues them,
Whose intensity sustains them,
He who sees me
In my waking and my sleep
He is here.

Beyond space and time, He is.
Here and now, He is.
So, it has always been.
So, it will always be.
His face shines upon mine.
He is in my very cells.
He knows me.
