Safe Passage

by Teresa Burleson

There are no guarantees
On this voyage,
Only untamed wind,
Whitecaps,
And the fathomless deep.
We are not promised

An easy passage
Only a Pilot
Who knows all things.
Whoever sets sail
On this ship,
Whoever says yes
To His call,
Finds the Life
That is Life indeed.
Whatever dangers,
Whatever hardships
Await them,
They have a harbor
No storm can reach.
