When thou passeth through the waters, Give thanks and praises. When thou passeth through the fire, Give thanks and praises. When persecutions seem endless, Give thanks and praises. When being tormented by thorns in the flesh, Give thanks and praises. When the whole world is filled with injustice, Give thanks and praises. When accusing voices invade as an army of locusts, Give thanks and praises. When answers to prayers seem withheld, Give thanks and praises. For the Lord inhabits the praises of His people, Therefore, when you praise Him, You build a tabernacle for His habitation, You create an atmosphere for His manifested presence. And when Christ manifests Himself, All the works of the Devil Shall be utterly destroyed. And afflictions shall not arise again. Give Him thanks and praise, Give Him thanks and praise!
Gabriel Udensi hails from Amankalu Alayi in the Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. He is currently the Assistant General Secretary of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Abia State Chapter. A member of the Aba Book Club and Aba Poetry Club, he’s also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB).
