Little Things

by Catherine Cruz

I look upon the flower field,
I see the lilies pass and yield
To love-in-a-mists, whose eyes
Are simply brightness in disguise,
My heart is wild in this place
It feels of God’s eternal grace.
And all the cares I once had had
Are thrown a place where sad is sad,
And all the little things I knew
Grew great before me, bright and true.
