by Jackie Chou
I am suffering,
overwhelmed by anxiety.
I wake each day with dread
of the chaos around me.
So I raise my arms to God
to be granted His mercy.
I pray in the name of Jesus
to receive His salvation.
I surrender to the Lord
to guide me through the right path.
I ask for forgiveness,
knowing I am far from grace.
And I strive for peace and joy
through a lifestyle of faith.
