by Jackie Chou
I never thought You’d catch me
when I lost my footing
and took a tumble
I expected to land hard and get hurt
only to find myself in cotton clouds
Your arms are far warmer
than the concrete ground
You gave me a warning
when I stumbled into sins
Then You redirected me
from the crooked path
I was heading into
You guided me
into Your righteous ways
through Your word
May You continue
to save me from evil
in the name of Jesus Christ
