Fire burns dreams to the ground
As a fierce wind slaps your face
The air is choked with smoke
As you silently weep for mercy
But the dark night slowly ebbs away
As a ray of morning light glimmers
Fire becomes ash and the air cools
As the Lord’s hand braces you
In the darkest hour of life
As his steady hand guides you
Faith will go unbroken
As he guides you forward
