Dear Jesus,

Your love like water 
Overflowing, oh Father 

Sweeter than chocolate on my lips 
And ripe strawberries freshly picked 

Richer than red wine 
Of grapes fermented over time 

Fuller than stomachs
Stuffed with lemon blueberry donuts 

Greater than sugar crumbs on coffee cake 
That your grandmother bakes

Wider than fields of cherry tomatoes 
And row of trees with avocados 

Your love nourishes my soul 
I always find myself wanting more
