A Healing Path

by Yevgeniya Przhebelskaya

When Jack’s apartment became an isolation ward,
and he could no longer could take
the pressures and the toils of daily living,
I told him to seek mental health help
Then I asked my friends to pray for his healing

When one member is sick, the Body of Christ
Will speak truth in love, and then pray for the healing
The cycle of healing is a beautiful path
God is always close to the brokenhearted

Months later, Jack is eating a traditional dinner with his family
Miles and milestones away from where his journey has started
He is back on my prayer chain list
Praying for the next person in need of God’s healing
