by Caroline Allen
When time presses down all its significance, each moment crushes with eternal weight, crashes, as a wave. It batters me. I can’t articulate how I think of Jesus’ experience of eternity on earth in His omniscience. A droplet hits my face. Intensity of presence and transcendence. This ETERNAL NOW.
My poetry dissolves in my hands unformed. Still, there is a satisfaction in crossing this passage and these many false starts.
