I see a stranger, will they understand my story?
All my laughter, tears, cheer, and mourning?
Why does my head droop as I smile?
They'd never understand- not my shoes, not my mile.
But I wonder, do they think the same?
Had they cried wishing someone knew their pain?
Perhaps we can grasp hands and not be afraid.
Jesus sat with sinners, for us both He came.
