by Paul Mayes Jamar
Many times crowds surrounded Jesus to touch Him and be astonished. For power flowed from Christ to them Healing and pleasing. They wanted more of Him. His virtue, strength, bravery, and valor, Moral goodness, temperance, charity, and Godly manner. All these things and more Christ shared, Plus healing broken souls showing He cared. Many wanted to be fed the bread of Heaven as The five thousand men were with pizzazz. Miracle after miracle Jesus Christ did perform, Yet the Jewish leaders demanded proof, they did inform. God’s Son was not enough to change their wicked souls, So they murdered Him as the gospel story goes. All they had to do was believe in Him, needing salvation, And they would receive it everlasting for their nation. Yet three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, And now they settle for His people touring Israel instead. Oh, what they could have had, just reaching out And taking on His virtue instead of going without.
