What happened to the Magi gifts
to the gold and myrrh and frankincense?

Why would God allow such treasures
to be dismissed from time and page?

What does that say of tinsel and tradition
if kingly gifts have passed away?

Are the priceless gifts forgotten
or do they live again
each time we give to honor Christ.
