Joy presents
an open door
out of the dark
of despair.
A welcome warmth
stretching across
the chamber floor,
inviting one or all
away from
the reign of fear.
Just as Jesus
stepped out
of the deepest
dungeon one
will ever face.
We, through 
His Spirit can
overcome 
any obstacle
by choosing
             joy.
