by Lorraine Caputo
During the night
beneath the fulling moon
rising above the sacred lake
beneath the rain
Pilgrims climbed
to the cross atop
Azotoguini hill
& come blinding-sun morn
they still zig-zag up
that cerro white
with fallen hail
