Pressing on is hard when you’re blind to what’s around the bend or over the next false summit. It’s easy to settle for just looking through the trees, knowing the trail is dark and steep. But what if someone is coming down, “You’re not going to believe it, you can’t stop now!” Isn’t that why Christ called us to take this trail? There are overwhelming vistas to behold, stunning encounters filled with peace and joy. A worth beyond all we’ve ever dreamed and everything we’ve left behind. It’s around the bend or over the next ridge. With faith as our sure and constant inner eye we know in Christ we can, “Keep pressing on.”
