Nine years, 3285 days,
time in a journey
on a train of grace
where those who traveled beside 
offered prayers that bridged
day by day and trial by trial
over chasms of uncertainty
where fear could have chained
our hearts in hopelessness. 
Oh, the Spirit-blessed words
shared from pain and experience
that helped us through the tunnels 
as we waited for the light. 
What a celebration
of deliverance and destination
we as passengers have in Jesus.
What delight in sharing victories
as we journey to the Station
He was prepared for us.
