What is He inviting me into 
on this path called today? 
What magnificence 
is waiting, what spark 
will excite my heart?
How will He capture
my attention?

Perhaps a casual glance,
a pause, at clouds shimmering
in a pond, or the breeze brushing
my cheek and a shower’s
sweetness. 

What awe-inspiring 
encounter will point me
to His ever-pursing goodness
and lovingkindness?
I don’t want to miss
a single wonder, even if it's
just a whisper. For I know 
I don’t need a burning bush 
when I’m walking
with faith-filled steps.
